MPG not what it used to be
I'm pretty sure the variation in my mpg is accounted for by Urban vs Extra Urban use and of course ambient temperature. Not noticed any issues with rear brakes, although it does of course have the infernal electronic parking brake 😬

Yes - a variety of Urban and Extra Urban. Given the proliferation of speed cameras I'm generally within speed limits.

My Skoda - a cautionary tale
Each to their own I guess🤷 I allowed the online services to lapse once my car reached 1 year old, but renewed the remote access aspect, primarily for the ability to remotely lock and unlock the car (and access the service history). The KESSY is supposed to function in such a way it is not possible to lock the keys in the car but believe me it is! After I let it lapse it was offered @20% discount which enticed me to renew. I didn't bother with the map updates / infotainment online, given I generally use Android Auto with Google or Waze. I'm not a big enough fan of the in-built Sat Nav / search functionality to justify an annual fee to get it updated.

I wonder if this data might help? The Fuelly data is calculated brim-to-brim and the monthly breakdown is from the My Skoda app. My car is a 2023 1.5 TSi manual.

Yeti owner here. Just to sayI had a look at a Karoq in the showroom today.
I certainly enjoyed the 1.2 TSi in a couple of Rapid's I had (hatchback and sportback) but just found it a little lacking on the open road in a manual Yeti. I did have 1.0 TSi (? 115 BHP) in a SEAT Toledo (Rapid clone) and found whilst it was economical, it was a little coarse and lacking in low down torque (it simply refused to reverse up inclines without slipping the clutch). I suspect DSG masks these issues?

LED or Matrix LED? --- please help ID
Hi Jon Not the best picture (it's the thumbnail from my Fuelly account). The standard (non matrix) LED headlights are passable and certainly an improvement on Halogen, but aren't as good as the AFS equipped Xenon headlights in previous Yeti's. Hope that helps.

I have personally found my 1.5 TSi manual Karoq somewhat underwhelming and also mechanically problematic, when compared with the Yeti it replaced. Whilst my first Yeti was a 1.2 TSi manual I didn't rate the engine and subsequently moved to 2.0 TDi (in both 2&4 wheel drive versions). I'm not a fan of DSG in any form, so stuck with a manual for all my Yeti's (x4 in total) and the subsequent factory order Karoq. All things considered though I suspect suspect a 1.5 TSi DSG Karoq will be a decent upgrade from a 1.2 TSi DSG Yeti 👍 I also looked at and rapidly dismissed a Kamiq. The Karoq is roomier and has a bigger boot than a Yeti, but lacks any of the character that car had in spades.

That looks identical to my 2023 SE-L. The headlights are standard LED (with manual height adjustment). The fog lights in my car are Halogen and there is no cornering function as standard. I can enable left Cornering light functionality with Carista, but not both sides, which is a frustrating backwards step when all of my previous 4 Yeti's did this 😬

Bush's, Brakes and Front Shocks after 22k miles
Doesn't bode well. Based on current mileage and use profile my 2023 1.5 TSi will be around 55k miles when the first MOT is due - I'd be extremely dissapointed if it failed it's first MOT for anything beyond my direct control (bulbs, tyres, wipers etc).
