Skoda Australia - 7 year warranty?
Thanks for that - I must get around to test driving a 2.0 TSi 👍

1.5 Tsi Power Cutting Out
Not had that problem for a while as I think I've got used to the engines tendency to stall at lower revs, so tend to drive around the he issue and use more revs. Car feels more positive to drive with the alternate throttle setting though.

Power Steering is rather stiff
Yes - these were the options displayed for my 2023 1.5 TSi Karoq 👍 I'm running the latest Carista Beta.
-
Throttle Adaption now available in Carista
A few hundred miles now covered with 'direct' and the car is noticeably easier to drive and less prone to stalling 👍

Buying Skoda Karoq - (noob) questions
Blimey - not a box to own out of warranty! Certainly agree regarding ZF torque converter boxes, based on my experience of 6, 7 & 8 speed iterations.

1.5 Tsi Power Cutting Out
Car is now more positive to drive in traffic and the throttle is easier to modulate a lower speeds - I've covered a few hundred miles with the new throttle setting and will stick with 'direct'👍

Power Steering is rather stiff
I'll check when I'm next in the car and will report back 👍

Noise from both LHS (? top mount area) and steering motor
Same for me - hoping to take mine in for a further attempt at rectification shortly

Skoda Australia - 7 year warranty?
Which VAG cars have the DQ381 transmission?

1.5 Tsi Power Cutting Out
Early indications are this (https://www.briskoda.net/forums/topic/527560-throttle-adaption-now-available-in-carista/) alteration to throttle mapping has made a positive difference to the cars drivability👍

Throttle Adaption now available in Carista
Initial thoughts are this is a positive👍

Eco light on even though in Normal mode
I have the same car as you and my understanding is the mode button (by the gearstick) allows you to select between one of four modes in which throttle mapping, AC mode and steering weight are varied. On each restart the car defaults to back to normal. There is a small indicator in the top left of the virtual dash to indicate which mode the car is in. The blue 'Eco' light (lower right) comes on irrespective of car mode and reflects when the engine has switched to two cylinder mode. I'm not aware of a method of disabling 2 cylinder mode, although guess it might be possible with VCDS?

Skoda Karoq 16" Steel Wheel & Bridgestone Winter Tyre Set
What a great choice of colour 👌

Throttle Adaption now available in Carista
In all other VAG cars I have owned Carista had the option to switch throttle response behaviour between 'gradual' & 'direct' but this wasn't available for my March 2023 1.5 TSi Karoq until now! (I'm on Beta) Given well publicised difficulties with driveability / ease of stalling I was keen to try this option and will report back on my experience with a switch from gradual to direct 👍

Navigation Activation
When I recently purchased a 2021 Octavia SE First Edition I mistakenly thought it had standard Satnav, but realised it was a cost option which could be purchased / enabled via the Skoda Shop. Suspect it might be similar for your vehicle?

Cars with nice backdrops...
Spotted a lovely looking 18 year old S-type earlier - this one runs on the wrong fuel, but it'll still be about 100 times nicer to drive and ride in than most modern cars. Still miss my old S-type!

Glorious this afternoon and still pretty warm (16 degrees)😎 Not too muddy either 🚲🙂 I spotted what appeared to be a chap getting knocked off his bike in the rear view mirror earlier - I doubled back to make sure he was okay and it turned out he was just unable to get his feet out of the clipped-in pedals quick enough - happily no harm done 👍

Best engine for the Yeti
I've owned several Yeti's and also had a 1.8 TSi Octavia. The 110 TDi (2WD) was far and away the most economical, but in my view the best was a Shark Mapped 140 TDi (4WD) which was responsive, reliable and still economical. Not a fan of 1.2 TSi or 1.6 TDi in a Yeti, although the smaller TSi worked well in a couple of Rapids. The 170 TDi was strangely unimpressicve, although I'm told pairs well with DSG. Given an aversion to automated manuals all my VAG cars have been manual (thus far). MPG from my 2.0 TDi 110: https://www.fuelly.com/car/skoda/yeti/2012/pinkpanther/139070

How to update Navigation?
My understanding was it updates in the background whilst the car is in use and there is no visible sign of update progress? Last time I updated the navigation on my March 2023 car it took at least a day and the only indication it was successfully updated was when the Navigation database changed to a new version.

Vehicle Status - Never Noticed Before……
It has always been the case in my March 2023 car👍 Must admit I was a little irritated the car depiction is not the correct colour to reflect my vehicle!

Goodbye to Yeti
Spotted this earlier - I can certainly see the attraction from a styling perspective👍 Great to see cars on the road which differ from the endless bland and boring options. Saying that I've no clue regarding Mini, as despite owning well over a 100 different cars that is one box I'm yet to tick😃

Goodbye to Yeti
The Yeti is certainly a difficult, if not impossible, act to follow! 4 Yeti's in total for me and nothing has subsequently quite covered all the bases, despite clear technological and mechanical advances. I hope the Mini is a worthy replacement 👍

Reversing camera image - can you see the car's own number plate?
Hopefully the jerkiness doesn't herald an upcoming failure🤞
