New Karoq owner
Also disappointed to see there is no cornering function, which on previous Yeti's involved the fog lights. I did look through the customisation options (in Carista) - not possible to enable them apparently☹️

I did briefly consider speccing the matrix LED headlights, but couldn't justify the (extraordinary) cost. Pleased to see the heated windscreen is now some type of film, rather than individual filaments. The heated seats are excellent and the seats themselves are a considerable step over my previous Yeti, in terms of comfort. I went for winter pack+ so was intrigued to see how the heated rear seats would work, given they fold and come out entirely. Pretty clever system👍

Despite the minor disappointment of the halogen foglights, halogen interior lights and non-auto adjusting LED headlights I'm pretty happy with the Karoq. I've covered around 1500 miles since collecting it a couple of weeks back and it's averaged mid forties to the gallon. The 1.5 TSI isn't a sparkling, or particularly eager engine, but it cruises quietly enough (2k RPM @70mph in sixth) and is surprisingly efficient👍

I tried the headlight range control in the infotainment system and it does indeed manually adjust the headlights up and down. Slightly disappointed with this as a SEAT Toledo (Rapid clone) I'd previously owned had automatically adjusting LED headlights, despite being a considerably older platform.

Fog lights are most certainly halogen and the LED headlights are the lower power variety which do not require automatic leveling. Despite this they do seem a significant step up over the xenons in my previous Yeti.

Drove around 150 miles on the A1 today and made no particular efforts with regards to maximising fuel economy. Have to say I was impressed with the MPG 😃

Main dealer confirmed the passenger wing mirror isn't auto-dimming 🤨

Headlights appear to be non self-levelling, given the option exists in the entertainment system to manually raise or lower them. They do seem pretty decent at night-time though👍

New Karoq owner
Thought I'd post to say hi👋 Just took delivery of a manual Karoq 1.5 TSi SE L. We have owned many Skoda's over the years, although after struggling to decide what to replace a Yeti TdF (remapped by Shark) with, opted for a pre-reg Suzuki SX4 S-Cross 1.4 All-grip SZ5 (which proved excellent in the recent snow!). We ran the Suzuki for just over 4 years (and 60000 miles), before trading it in for my first ever factory order Skoda. Opted for dynamic blue (not keen on paying for paint!) and added winter pack+, the smallest spare wheel, 5-year warranty and third key (bargain at £35!). Loving the heated steering wheel and windscreen 👍 Happy with how the Karoq drives and somewhat relieved to see there now appears to be no issue with the aforementioned 'kangarooring' issues. I was initially hesitant to forgo 4WD, but will more than likely fit All-season tyres in time for next winter. The tyre size (215/50/18 96W) does however cut down the choice somewhat! The the on-board tech in the Karoq took a little time to find my way around. I did set up a Skoda connect account, but suspect I won't continue to pay for this facility after the first year expires expires. I did notice last night the passenger side wing mirror does not appear to auto dim, so suspect this may be faulty, as I'd assume both sides would be auto-dimming (along with the rear view mirror)? The LED headlights in the Karoq seem to be a step up from those in the Suzuki, in terms of illumination, but I guess will be the the non auto height adjusting type, given there is an option to alter headlight position in the information screen? Slightly surprised to see the combination of led and halogen bulbs around the car. LED DRL's, headlights, indicators and number plate lights, but halogen for the fog lights. And in the interior LED for the sun visor illumination, but all halogen for the interior lights (front, rear and boot) and glovebox illumination. The biggest difference between the Karoq and Suzuki at the present time appears to be much improved road noise and general ride comfort. I'll report back regarding the passenger wing mirror👍

All Season Tyres for Citigo
I fitted Michelin Cross Climate to our family SEAT Mii (185/55/15). Also ran Cross Climates on a few Yeti's and found them to be quiet, excellent in winter conditions and very long lasting. Prior to 'discovering' All-season tyres I'd typically switched between full winters (on steel rims) and the cars original alloys. Recall the Michelins weren't the cheapest option, but given both relative performance and longevity can recommend them👍
