  1. Are you not able to keep to the limit then? It's not sarcasm, mate, I've never really understood why anyone needs to be warned that there's a camera ahead.
  2. I have a novel idea for you... Stay within the speed limit! Job done.
  3. Yeah, I do wish more people would indicate from where they hail.
  4. Oh dear...have I touched a nerve?
  5. Help yourself to a Capital when you fancy it!
  6. I had Gtechniq Crystal Serum with EXO professionally applied to my new car before I collected it from the dealer. It's black, easy to keep clean and looks stunning even now...20 months later.
  7. I've always wondered why dipsticks are dark in colour...rather like the oil. What's wrong with a white one to better see the level. There's probably a sensible reason but I can't see it.
  8. Good Morning, `varaderoguy`, I'm afraid this is making me feel uneasy and ill-equipped for todays technical world. I mean... MIB? what does that mean...Men In Black...I doubt it. How to get my address to you secretly? How to get your address to me secretly? `Paypal`? I've heard of it but no idea how it works. So, I'll stick with my maps as they are. Its not as if I go anywhere anyway! And if I do and get lost, I'll just turn around and try again...not a biggy. You are obviously a very nice bloke and I'd like to thank you for your time, your kindness and for your patience. My very best regards Mike.
  9. What a very kind offer, thank you so much. That would surely be the answer to my problem but in these strange times I cannot see how we would swap `merchandise`. All the very best. Mike.
  10. Thank you so much `varaderoguy` for your advice. I'm not exactly a beginner with computers but they do scare me. The words `Upload` and `download` fill me with the heeby jeebys. All I see from them is damage to my computer or to my car. I have asked my supplying dealer (Wings of Peterborough) if they could do it for me during the annual service (at my cost) but they say it takes so long that I would need to leave the car with them. They are 50 odd miles away (almost exactly the same distance as Hortons in Lincoln.) so that doesn't work. I have more or less accepted that I'll get along with my current maps. Thanks again.
  11. Thank you...but you've made me even more apprehensive about doing this. `computer file`? `electronically compressed`? `data compression`? Rather think my maps are gonna stay as they are!!!!!
  12. Thank you for that, `AIVal`. When I pluck up enough courage I might try that.
  13. I'm considering doing the same thing to my Nav and can follow most details as long as I understand them. One thing I've often read but never understood is this `unzipped` business. What does that mean exactly? Many thanks.
  14. "Don't call me Shirley"!
  15. He'll probably be planting some spuds soon!
  16. Ah...that's good to know that Chris is Okay. I too miss contact (through this forum) with him. He is such a nice chap and taught me loads.
  17. Time to make use of a battery charger me thinks!
  18. Sounds great. Thanks so much, `Steve`.
  19. Thanks again, `UndertheRadar`. Just watched a video review of the Car Pro Hydr02` by `Pan The Organiser` (Quite like his videos) and he suggests that its the same thing as the `Wet Coat` He made no mention of keeping away from the glass...so maybe I should just be careful where I spray and be meticulous in my rinsing.
  20. Thanks for your reply, UndertheRadar` When spritzing it onto your panels (especially on the `A`, `B` and `C` pillars and roof) how do ensure no overspray onto the glass? I had my car `Gtechniq Ceramic Coated` when brand new so I'm just looking for an easy `top-up` after the wash.
  21. I've watched some you-tube reviews which say it can be used all over the car and others saying that it shouldn't be used on the glass. Has anyone used this stuff and can give me a steer? Many thanks.
  22. CRIKEY...One Thousand, One Hundred and Twenty Nine pounds for a litre of diesel... Glad I drive a petrol !!!!
