  1. I love the irony of it being delivered by a submersible heavy lift ship powered by a 17,000hp two stroke diesel engine.
  2. Just come back.up the M1 and passed a Scen EV doing about 55 mph causing a right tailback as the wagons were having to pass it at 56 mph or there abouts. Obviously on cruise but oblivious to the rest of the world. Other than that I notice that on the continent the Scenic seems to be sold as a Mitsubishi Grandis.
  3. Had the same on our Kodiaq and gave up with it. I replaced it with an AAWireless2 that works flawlessly
  4. Running costs may be cheaper but the cost to change is still very large and takes a long time to recoup. This is what matters to most people. I'm sure you'll mention cheap PCP deals on EVs but they done matter to many people buying through savings or second hand.

Agreed... They are the exhaust hangers (or in this case they are 'inverted' hangers
  6. Yeah this one's not huge as I think it's paired with the fiat 500x. Those mini countryman are definitely bigger and uglier

    A photo would also help...
  8. Ok well seeing as no-one seems to be guessing any longer I'll put @Gaz out of his misery... Its a Jeep Renegade Longitude in flat white...
  9. Nice evening one from our hotel in Menorca...
  10. Ooooh you're definitely getting very warm but not quite cooking with gas yet....
  11. Ok I'll give you another clue .. It's a general purpose outlaw with a model designation that references a geographical coordinate system passing through the Greenwich Observatory
  12. Nope sorry @Gaz ... It's actually not a bad drive, is from part of the Stellantis group and has lots of little 'easter egg' (unfortunately not of the chocolate variety) motifs all round it harking back to it's WWII forefathers. Enough of a clue??
  13. Sorry.. No cigar for that guess...
  14. Bingo... A C3 Picasso that seems to have had quite a hard life... Is version number one. Version number two arrives tomorrow
  15. Ok there'll be two versions of this hire car as we've discovered the one we have which is named after a famous painter is falling apart and has non-working A/C which isn't nice in these temps and when we have a heat warning for 36 tomorrow. So we're getting an upgrade to an American Group F
  16. Ooh I wish it was either of those. And yes it's very nice if currently about 34 degrees which is a tad warm for me!
  17. Ok... It's hire car time again... Group D Menorca from a local outfit SWMBO found (not my preference this time a they seemed expensive but I did what I was told...)
  18. Seriously?? - Madness.
  19. I can't believe you are suggesting the average person will carry that lot about... What a load of tosh
  20. The Skoda response really is just bull**** - it's clearly a corrosion issue and has absolutely nothing to do with whether mechanical parts were serviced or not... We've had Skoda's for 25 years now and I don't recall them EVER doing a bodywork inspection as part of servicing.
  21. Blimey that Alpine is ugly! Too much 'addenda' at the front and the wheels are awful! All in my opinion of course...
  22. I'd call that a radiator cowl or diverter... https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/366632913810?campid=5339147365&mkcid=1&mkevt=1&mkrid=710-53481-19255-0&toolid=20006&var=0&customid=EAIaIQobChMIx5HZj6rLlgMVrJlQBh1fKRAFEAQYASABEgKDV_D_BwE&loc_interest_ms=&loc_physical_ms=9046364&adtype=pla&gad_source=1&gad_campaignid=23841004265&gclid=EAIaIQobChMIx5HZj6rLlgMVrJlQBh1fKRAFEAQYASABEgKDV_D_BwE
  23. As above.. it's telling you that the seat backrest isn't locked into position properly so have another go with a bit more force
  24. Just to add to this, albeit my knowledge is minimal, I've used Car Scanner and Carista quite happily to change settings using a basic ELMe27 dongle on my 2018 Kodiaq but it won't do the same on a 2017 Citigo. Which seems strange but there you go.
  25. I currently have an Ottocast Mini Cube 3 that I picked up just before Christmas but it's currently sat on the side doing nothing as it doesn't seem to like my Kodiaq's Bolero and has therefore only been used a couple of times. It's still in it's original packaging with all parts and has been 'reset' to as delivered factory settings. It's the standard USB model rather than a USB C but does come with an adapter. I paid £43 including delivery for it but if anyone wants it I'm happy to take £35 for it - just drop me a PM. Cheers
