Nice cats i have always thought if i get a pet i would have to call it a normal name like trevor or steve or something along them lines

Jaguars and landrovers use some fancy pipework that comes from the intake and is piped to a baffle on the bulkhead that kicks in when giving it the old heavy right foot treatment.

now the only thing i can see that could be my problem is the two sets of black and clear wire pairs that appear to go nowhere as there are no pins in the radio

Right finally got round to getting a picture

i will get one tomorrow and post it up i seem to remember seeing some wires going in to none pinned holes on the back of the stereo but cant imagine why that would stop the mic working as i assume that would be wired in to the BT unit itself

why are cars so annoying sometimes i work on them all day so i guess i should know but this is just frustrating are there different link leads that go between radio and BT unit?

Also i have replaced the mic does any one have a pin out of what should go where in the swing radio?

I have the exact same problem i have the bluetooth working all showing on maxidot, can make and recieve calls and can hear them but the mic is not working

HAHA a break through i have sussed it out turns out i have just been missing the painfully obvious lol thanks for the advise now to try and sort the bluetooth and see about DAB

Out of interest how do you have your playlists arranged ?

Hi I was having a play this morning and I do have a browse button but it seems that I can only browse through songs there are no other folders available.

Two things...... first i have the mdi and an ipod nano and it plays nusic fine but i cant see to search through the ipod only one song at a time. I have the Swing radio and its only shows fld up, fld down and top but none of them seem to allow me to browse playlists. Do they have to arranged in some specific order? And secondly looking at getting OEM bluetooth i have been looking at the kits available and while the all look the same/ very similar in appearance the part number for the module vary a lot are they the same or is there some to to avoid etc etc etc I can get a kit through a friend and its part number is 5K0 035 730 SW:1020 HW: H09 Oh and its to go in a 2012 fabia VRS Any advise much appreciated guys

Hi all Havent posted on here in ages but seen as it turns out im keeping the vrs i thought i might ask the people in the know! Just before christmas i noticed that the car started making a knocking noise from the front when letting the clutch up or travelling at slow speeds with no throttle. whats the chances that this is the DMF. Also when the undertray is off and looking at the engine should it slant down towards the gearbox side. I would have thought that it should have been straight Car is a fabia VRS

Hi all Woke up this morning and lo and behold my car has been broken in to stolen a stereo and my sat nav. Thing is the alarm didnt go off the car was fully locked up and they smashed the O/S/R quarter glass wonund the back window down and they climbed in the thieving pikeys . Just wondering if any body would know why the alarm wouldnt of sounded

ipk - instrument pack just want to check all the lights on the dash i keep getting a red one flash up and i dont know what it is.............. urm no i wont be going to the meet unfortunatly

Does anybody know if you can do a self test on the ipk to do light checks etc

what is you different method if you dont mind me asking or is it top secret knowledge
