If it was ordered 4 weeks ago and the salesman says today it's built and waiting for shipping how long should it take to get here?

Happened twice to me, first time ten years ago on a brand new Leon, when AA jacked car up stone fell out, then about a year ago, after driving on fresh chippings, it was so loud thought it was a train on the nearby track, jacked car up and a tiny chipping was lodged in between disc and guard. Quite worrying when you don't know what it is and a pain taking wheels off when you do!

Looked and sat in a Rapid the weekend before launch as our local dealer was very friendly (already a customer of there's though!) and helpful. Have to agree that the pricing is way out there but is that not true of most new cars these days, I wouldn't have been able to afford my Superb had it not had £5000 off list price (it was pre-regd). When the prices become more realistic (and they will have to if Skoda plan on selling any) I think it will sell well. Reasonable room inside, big boot, good reliability and economy, did someone call for a taxi ????
