  1. Perhaps share what the issue was, may help future posters.
  2. I'm yet to carry out this mod but want to be sure that I'm doing it correctly. When complete should the hole in the nozzle face the engine or face the boost pipe?
  3. ended up buying a passat alltrack in the end.
  4. I had a 2010 golf with the 122 that had chain and tensioner issues hence asking.
  5. theres one on ebay i am pondering at the minute. is the later 1.4tsi problematic as the earlier 122ps ones?
  6. rover220 posted a topic in Skoda Yeti
After selling my superb Mk2 I have a hankering. I don't really need a diesel and was wondering how good the 150 tsi is when compared to the cfgb 170 I had in the superb.
  7. Any link to a guide for reversing egr?
  8. I downloaded the lot from erwin under the 1hr option iirc. About 7 euros cost.
  9. using this in my cfgb 170 https://www.millersoils.co.uk/products/ee-longlife-5w30/
  10. Think that's how it works, at least my t6 transporter does the same if I try and use mfsw phone functions whilst in carPlay.
  11. Different plus for switch so you'd need to check your current one.
  12. Did the rear of my superb 4x4 which is the same as the yeti. The 4x4 makes access to carrier bolts even harder. It wasn't a fun job on the drive.
  13. Does your car have stop start and what battery was fitted by the garage? We had a user here once that was adamant that the TV tuner was causing electrical problems despite being told otherwise. Turns out they had just fitted a new battery that was not an EFB or AGM and it was causing all sorts of funky things to happen.
  14. Your gen 4 haldex has a proper replaceable filter, not just the gauze on the pump. Make sure the filter is replaced. Beyond that you must make sure you use the correct drain plug for the haldex, very easy to get confused with the rear diff drain. Many instances of people draining diff and topping up haldex meaning you diff is now dry.
  15. quantum ll3 is ideal. personally in my cfgb engine i use millers nanotech.
  16. 5w30 meeting vw507.00
  17. Did you pay for the service on a credit card? If so, consider looking in to section 75 claims.
  18. The fact they are denying responsibility because you quite rightly have not had the emissions fix shows the level you are dealing with. They will clearly grasp at any opportunity to avoid paying out for their blatant mistake. Please do not settle for less than having your care repaired at no cost to yourself.
  19. I use thule 9582b. Best option.
  20. Do yourself a favour and have either an ecs or westfalia wiring kit fitted. £150 or so for either kit and really quite simple to fit. Vcds needed after for coding mind.
  21. Ultimately I think you're going to need a report saying diff damage from lack of oil. Would be interested in seeing decent pics of the drain plugs for the haldex and the rear diff. I bet the rear diff one will have witness marks showing it has been undone when it shouldn't have done.
  22. So now we have a report saying diff casing cracked as opposed to haldex unit. I think it's plainly clear to see what has happened here and wish you the best of luck in a resolution.
  23. Almost certainly the struts.
