Gutted for you. My car breaks all the time. (I break it) And its so annoying. Mine got taken this morning as one of the rear pads went through.

The GTB1756 option sounds ideal Richard. The clutch is brand new and never gets harmed in first gear. Even second gear is only ever abused for fun on the road. (safety and condition being good of course) On track I have only ever ended up using 3rd, 4th and 5th. Personally I think the car could handle a slightly taller diff and a limited slip would be a bonus. When I had the gearbox changed I looked at the quaife option but decided against it due to funds. I wish now that I had just done it.

Im basically quite tight. I have owned diesel powered cars for 12 years.... You are right though, it is addictive but I know that I will draw the line at a bigger turbo and manifold. I think...

All I want is "around" 200hp Richard. I can hang on to a lot of cars but they edge away on the straights (circuit dependant) or if they are a bright GOLD GTR they go past like im driving to the shops. Would the standard exhaust and intercooler be ok with the bigger turbo other than just strangle it?

Well when I started this thread I broke the gearbox. Since having that sorted out I have destroyed the brakes...

Suugestions welcome please. The car has been remapped but I think that its probably only in the region of 160bhp. I could do with another 40 or so.

Thank you very much. Mine is different though. In the photo on the left I have a gap with no wiring third in from the left. :|

Mines an 05 VRS. It has a line of connections above the battery. I took it apart, didn't pay attention and although the wires have gone back in the correct positions, I can't say the same about the blade type bits that look like big fuses, albeit in the form of a flat bit of steel. Has anybody got any photos that may help or diagrams? Much appreciated.

They didn't so much reverse as waited for the "ding dong" of the door bell and cowardly let in a few million nazis.

Its a love/hate thing. I may like it again tomorrow. It may actually be me that causes the problems.
-
I am afraid that I will no longer be able to make this gathering.

Always to everybodies rescue Richard. its not so bad but I know that it is there so its bl00dy annoying. I usually do no more than 70mph.....along this stretch of road with its national speed limit. Today I was behind a Mini Cooper that kept having to change down so, I was fortunate enough to be doing 35mph. Its still annoying though. But, time to be thankful for small mercies.
