Cheers Rob. Probably not going to start looking till about July anyway as my pcP deal ends in jan so allowing delivery time.

Bizarrely enough skoda tweeted a picture of the 230s VRS badge today. Hopefully a bit more info won't be long.

This car seems to have fallen into a black hole. I've seen no mention in the motor press or skoda themselves since Geneva. Is it launching in July?

Amundsen showing £0 charge on VRS combi - (UK site)
jamiemad replied to RickTT's topic in Skoda Octavia Mk III (2013 - 2020)
I noticed that last night and thought my phone was remembering a previous configuration. Tried it at work and it came up again as a free option. Happy days if you're buying now. -
PCH...... the 'new' PCP?
jamiemad replied to LeeHarrison's topic in Skoda Octavia Mk III (2013 - 2020)
That's the one I saw. Looks like it's casued a bit of a fracas on the website you linked. -

Spookily a skoda dealer I follow on a certain social media site are advertising £1500 down and £199per Month for 3 years on a PCH deal on a tdi VRS which sounds tempting. -
PCH...... the 'new' PCP?

I cant help think that PCH is a more cost effective solution, especially for me who only does around 8k per year. I part exed my car into my 3 year PCP deal and I am pretty sure at the end of my PCP deal that equity will have all but gone meaning its cost me considerably more than a lease. I spotted a VRS petrol deal for less that £270 per month with 3 months advance payment (10k miles per year) which made me seriously consider moving to a PCH deal. just my 2 pence worth -
I think it looks great and would seriously consider one when they go one sale. I wonder if some of these features are actually my15 chnages.

I thought it was supposed to have a different front bumper. Looks ok to me if the ride height stays the same. Would like to see some more pics to help the game of spot the difference.

Seems to be hundreds of pictures of the superb, superb at Geneva but none of the vrs 230. Has anyone seen any pics other than the 2 out there already of the rear and interior?

Octavia Scout Lease - A few questions...
jamiemad replied to ultramagnetic's topic in Skoda Octavia Mk III (2013 - 2020)
I'm a bit bewildered by the PCP deal for the vrs with a £500 deposit and £270 per month considering the deal on the skoda web site which is £7k down and £255 per month and £9600 GFV or did I misinterpret what you we're saying? -
Black Design plus option no longer available?
jamiemad replied to jamiemad's topic in Skoda Octavia Mk III (2013 - 2020)
Managed to get it to work and then added options afterwards. Not sure which option causes it to grey out. I had chosen the red interior. Cheers again folks. -

Cheers I will have a look when I get 5 minutes. -
I would be surprised that vw's "Budget" brand would get 4 wheel drive and their "sporty" brand only gets 2 wheel drive. Personally I would like to see a R model even though i suspect its going to be outside of my budget.

Strangely enough I was just reading about the cupra st on a unnamed car website. 280bhp and looks good, however £28.5k for a manual amd nearly £30k for the auto. Now to me that's a whole pile of money and I suspect very similar to what the vrs-r would cost.

Thanks guys. I will maybe live with it until I need to go for a service of some more serious warranty work. The sound of a car seat rattling is more annoying (as is the noise coming from the child in it:-)

I definitely have something rolling around inside the trim on the boot lid (estate) how easy do the plastic panels come off? Its only a few months old and I don't want to damage it. I want to avoid a trek to the dealers so may live with it.
