right guys i've only had the car for a couple of months and i'm pretty happy with it so far. only problem is the engine management light has come on. looking at the old reciepts from the previous owner its had the 17705+17745 on it for a few months.

i had it scanned and faults cleared at a local garage but now there back on, the list of fault codes is at the garage atm unforunately. the car is struggling to idle at more than 500rpm even feeling like it wants to stall sometimes and also seems a bit hesitant.

after reading some old posts i'm planning on getting a couple of problem hoses to change first, i can't see for deffinate that they are the problem but its somewhere to start.

the part numbers if got are: 06A 145 790C Between turbo>intercooler.

and 06A 103 221AF breather hose

if someone could comfirm that these are the correct part numbers that would be great?

If anyone else has any ideas what to look at that would also be fantastic!!

cheers, Ian

anything on the boost side of things, could also be the dv.

well just had it re scanned at the local garage. the only faults they were getting up were 17511(ho2s 1, bank 1-heater output low) and 17524 (HO2S 1, bank 1- heater open circuit). they've took it for a run up the road a few times after clearing the faults, and still only getting these faults coming back.

so after a quick look round on here. i've told them to go ahead and order the sensor.

Hopefully that will sort the problem. fingers crossed.

Ian
