Hi Guys,

I noticed black smoke out of the exhaust today while the secondary pump was working. After the pump stopped, the black smoke stopped. I am guessing that it is over fuelling but why would it suddenly do this. The engine check light is also on.

Other than getting a diagnostic, are they any suggestions as to what could be the cause and a possible solution?

I had this on a vectra and it needed all the ports cleaned out if engine symbol is on I`d get it checked out asap before you do damage
