The only place I've seen that does pressed plates with the genuine font is Custom Front License Plates, Personalized Vanity Auto Plate -LICENSEPLATES.TV . The problem is that they are not cheap as they are based in America and prices are per plate.

i'm 90% sure i bought a set from there and the product was absolute crap, standard plastic plate with wrong font, and a euro band. took 4 weeks for them to arrive too. :thumbdwn:

Dubmeister also do a pressed plate version with standard UK font....

Still not 100% legal for road use, but a lot closer than some!
