Hi all,

Gave my car a clean yesterday so I thought I would show you guys what I just bought. Bought it from main dealer with 55k on the clock for £7k.

What do you think?

This is my old car. Had to get rid of it. It was eating gearbox's for breakfast.

My mate has a polo gti 5 door exactly the same with Xenon's and red GTI badges.

His has just had a new gearbox and is leaking - ha

The colour reminds me off my first car (Nova SR) I also had a polo (16v) I had to change gearbox, then the elec windows went, I sold/traded in with windows gubbed and got the fabia

What did you use on the steering wheel to make it so shiny?

Looks like he's got the older steering wheel, same as mine. Has a shiny black leather whereas the newer ones are more of a grey matt finish.

Hello everyone I decided to update my 2014 Skoda Octavia to a newer age. First changed the MIB1 to MIB2, and then decided to add a rear view camera (there are other projects on the way like MFK1 to MFK2). I want to tell the story so someone else does not make the same mistakes I did. My Skoda never had a camera, so I bought one from a scrapyard, a 3V0827566N without the wiring harness, it scrapped with the body. Prepping to do 2.0TSi clutch in future - plenty of time and opportunity as I mentioned recently I have a 1.8T L&K Octy also ! I'd seen a comment at some point someone recommending to change rear main seal whilst you are in there. Something to watch for? Also as below

Hi! I'm in need of some help please. My Octavia estate sat for 8 months unused. The battery went flat (AGM Varta) and doesn't charge. I got the car started with a different battery and then swapped in the dead battery to see if it would start charging. BUT, now the engine was running I needed to move the car a bit and found that the gear stick won't go into reverse gear. It can select 1st, 2nd, 3rd, 4th but not reverse. I've ordered up a new AGM battery (due in a couple of days) but this reverse
