What on earth was that blue 'GTR' one before someone went Halfords crazy on it ?!?!?!

The half black and orange one has the best mod done to it already.

Half the front spoiler has been ripped off :D

Step One: Cover car in Super Glue

Step Two: Ram Raid Halfords/Motorworld!

Jeez they have vivid imaginations in CZ!

:rofl::rofl::rofl:

I think the blue one is a Skoda 110R. I initially thought "What the hell have they done to that Oct... Fab... um..."

I think its quite a good attempt at modernising an older car and certainly makes you do a double take! It almost looks a bit Maserati-esque from the rear. I'll reserve complete judgement until I've seen the front though!

I wouldnt want to be driving that yellow octavia on a hot day.

Depends on if they have been clever and vented the top of the number plate, looks like its slanted so could be. If they have then it offers about the same as a standard front bumper.

That blue GTR looks like it might have been a Rapid.

What a complete lack of taste and class!

the mk2 octys pretty smart with those amg wheels.:o

thats still my fav fabia modded though:)

The Race Blue one is based on a 110 I'm sure.

I see it looks like someone else has had the idea I had last night, of fixing the grille to the bumper, rather than hacing it as part of the bonnet.

The Czech's and Eastern Europeans in general are heavily into the styling side of modified cars (not all are to my taste but some are cleverly done).

Some of those pics have been taken from the bi-anual Skoda Tuning Doksy meet, where those fortunate enough to have travelled on the Czech trips last year or the year before that will have been to and enjoyed themselves

Tuning Škoda Octavia - Report ze svìta Škodovek a tuningu

What i noticed when i spent a week in liberec a couple of years back was almost all of the modified skodas where bog standard models people had stuck bits too, i saw a single genuine vRS while i was there. All of the others i had seen had just had a vrs front bumper stuck on or had the wheels but nothing else. The brakes are always the best give away.
