clutch pedal

Featured Replies

Hi All,

In the past couple of weeks my clutch pedal has started playing about, basically as you lift it back up it sort of clicks into place (over about the last centimetre of pedal travel). If you have your other foot resting on the brake or accelerator pedals you can feel it even more.

Does the mechanism in the clutch pedal need adjusting? Is it an easy DIY job or should I take it in to the main stealers (it's under warranty)

Cheers

I think you've answered your own question with the word "warranty". It doesn't sound right, and you're not happy, so throw it back.

im gonna grease mine up this week, as its creaking like a stabbed jackdaw!

i'll have a poke around and see if there's anything adjustable on the pedal linkage, or anything that could cause it to stick like your saying.

Thanks for the advice guys.

I think I'll give the dealer a ring if it's still doing it next week. It means getting the train to work for the day but better than messing around with it on the driveway... and it should be free if it's under warranty.
