Why do who bother to do what? The linked auction is a way to get publicity for the breaking, they say that anything enquired about will be listed as a BIN item. Otherwise they would have to set up auctions for everything all at once and how do the sellers know what to offer? Engine, ECU, loom separately? Or together? etc etc etc. ebay isn't really well suited to vehicle breakings and this is, IMO, quite a clever way to bend it to fit!

That is how it works

Front doesn't look damaged and neither does rear, so only things I could think of are water damage, or a big drivers side impact which doesn't look to be the case.

Even a totalled engine wouldn't write it off.

I suspect he would rather do a deal with you over the phone for what you want than pay a listing fee and end of sale fee to fleabay.

IMHO the angle of the photo would suggest that there is heavy front / offside damage.

I contacted him today for the following:

1 x engine cover (TFSI)

1 x front grille complete

Answer, both sold, plus it's a diesel anyway so engine cover no good for me..

So it would appear that this Octy has no front end damage and from the photo we can tell no rear, so what sorry tale has it to tell............:eek:

COuld I buy the rear elec windows switch and stuff and get it fitted??? Mine only has front elec windows. And what about the dula zone system? Can i fit that too??

When I say "Can I" fit it, i mean "Can someone else fit it" I haven't got a clue about this stuff!!!
