Visited this forum a couple of times but registered as I have placed an order for a 1.4 TDi Fabia Sport in Candy White - still waiting for a delivery date.

Currently have a 1.6 TDCi LX Focus which is very noisy on the majority of road surfaces, also it is too big for my liking & common as muck, engine however is excellent and quite economical - currently 55 mpg.

Having read lots of threads I hope the 1.4 can match this !

Was impressed with Fabia ride, sport interior & 1.4TDi get up and go also liked the engine note for some reason ! - looks are not so girlie as Corsa, Clio etc

I rarely go on motorway, mostly only me in the car on A & B roads so think the 1.4 was best choice (threads suggest mpg suffers over 60mph)

Anyhow we will see , can't wait to get my hands on it.
