The Project Begins !!!!!

Featured Replies

Hi Guys,

I Need Some Help..... I'm about to start modding my yellow 54 plate vrs fabia both in and out, the mods i've got in mind are as follows:

1: Full Respray to black

2: Tinker with engine to up BHP to around 175/180

3: Trim interior in black leather

4: Tint Window!!

I'm seeking advice from any one about suggested parts to use or from members in the north east who can recommend any garages/ trimmer etc that they've used . This site has always really useful to me and i would love any feedback or suggestions from its members !!!

Thanx guys :)

Best of luck with the project. :)

For leather speak to Seat Surgeons. I think they live in York, but have places elsewhere too.

This clicky is for the southern branch but will give you an idea of what they're about.

sell the yellow and buy a black one, there is 1-2k saved plus will look much better and the engine bay and other pannels covered by trim will all be the same colour

Aaa-rr... You can buy a black one... Better make it white! That's the real ****e now... :D

Sell it and buy a black one....

What happened to the old one??

It's sheer craziness respraying it to a colour you can simply buy off the forecourt. If I had my heart set on a different colour, at least go for something it's not available in - I'm liking white, or an anthracite/gunmetal shade.

my now ex girlfriend drove through a ditch filled with water and flooded the engine !!!

seemingly skoda could nt find any water damage in the engine so replaced the whole thing !!!!

I think being friends with the director of benfield and once taking him to court had something to do with their newly found co operative nature LOL

Now its been mentioned I am considering white !!

Why buy yellow, when black are available like 35:1 then spend money on a respray, buy black in the first place then everything matches

Or you could stick with yellow like I and enjoy the laugh when you leave Beemers behind in a cloud of smoke and from a girly yellow car too :-)

Driving is down to the driver, who can read the road, knowledge of the road and ability

I have been driving now for over 1.5 million miles and on the same roads day in day out for thirty years

In my company basic fiesta's pug 206's I still made good progress on the wannabe MZ, Beemersand porche but they did not know what was around the next bend (I think) like in ten seconds the guy who is tailgating me does not know it will be a dual carriage way

Since I went from company crap to my Yellow Furby VRS oh joy

The tailgaters are in the wrong gear at the wrong time and I leave them behind, yea they catch up eventually to tailgate me yet again angry and frustrated that a commoner in a bloody Skoda has left them standing :-)

My tailgater tonigh was a beemer Z4 2.0se

Which could run the *** of my VRS but having money to buy a top of the range car, you have to have the intelligence to use it (drive it)

He tailgated me, along the single carriage way then it comes to the dual, he was in the wrong gear at the wrong time, and I took off, by the time he had caught up it was back to the single lane again

I am not blowing my whistle that I am a rally champ driver, just after 1.5M miles in crap cars, you tend to know the car and what is on the road and use the knowledge

So yellow does me fine and I enjoy the road, and some of the ******* on it

I am considerably richer than thow :-) types

Yeah go for white or something unique. There's plenty of choice out there.

get it flatted and add a flip over the yellow..

Why not get your car resprayed in a nice Graphite Grey, like mine? I think it'd look amazing on a vRS.

What every1 has says is right, don't waste money on a respray, new engine or not.

Be happy with yellow, buy ablack one, or spray it a cool colour! Let your imagination run wild... if you've got 2k+ kicking around for a respray, maybe you've got the money to make a really unique motor?

What about a subtle and unique bodykit in a cool shade of blue, or metallic candy red, or an orange. Something cool!!!

What do you mean white not available? Mine was bought in "candy white" and have seen a number of others similar.

vRS's were not available in white.

What a random post!

As said, dont bother with a respary, you will never get your money back and will actually loose value in your car.

Id spend that money on bigger turbo, FMIC, helix clutch, SMF, remap, suspension and brake upgrades and LSD!

Good luck with your project mate, i personaly love the yellow :D

Yeah

Do not waste money on a re-spray

Then the amber nectar took charge :-)

Then it does not matter what the colour of the car but the driver
