Leaving a car in-gear.

An ex girlfriend used to leave it in gear! that was until we were heading home to scotland and were just about to drive up to belfast from dublin when she decided she needed a few things from the supermarket......20 mins she said......40 mins later i was ringing her like mad as we had to go......she eventually answered her fone all sheepish.....turns out she left it in gear and forgot!!...jumped in and smashed into the carpark wall!!!.....destroying the whole of the front bumper!!.....had to drive to belfast minus the front of the car!!.....luckily my dad let me drive his M5 when we got home as he said he wanted nobody seeing me in that shed!!......when we drove back to troon we got stopped at the ferry by the polis and quizzed about being in an accident!!!......had to explain that it happened before we even left dublin!!!.....girlfriend sat there all red faced and said nowt!!!
