Booting from USB memory card

Featured Replies

I'm trying to get XP on my EeePC, I've read and reread the threads on EeeUser.com but can't find a solution that I fully understand as a computer nincompoop. I can do the Nlite thing of pairing down an XP install to tiny proportions and create an ISO.

I can alter the Bios on the Eee to make sure it boots from the USB device

I just don't know how to make the usb device bootable. It's a Sandisk 2.0GB Micro SD plugged into a USB card reader.

Anyone?

Into the bios,

Go to the section describing boot devices or boot order

Move USB device or similar wording above the SATA/IDE/CD/SSD
