Carpet mats in Elegance

Featured Replies

Just pick me new MY08 Elegancy on Thursday, and loveing it. Didn't notice it when i picked it up that it did not have any carpet mats in it, should there be? my of 55 had them. Also loking a the carpet in the front i have two fixings that are circular, they look like thay are for fitting the mats too, but they are of diffrent design to the 55 reg one agin, have they moved away from the half turn type of caprt fixing?

Sorry that was a bit long winded, just wanted concenus before i go and pester the dealer.

I had to haggle/ask nicely for carpets, which the dealer provided free of charge.

Technically they are an extra, but given they are only a few quid and most people want them dealers will throw them in.

few quid? try 38 quid same as it costs any customer. at most the dealer might get discount from their spares supplier but that wouldnt be a huge discount. unless they have got some cheapo ones they give away?

the elegance doesnt come with mats but has the fixings for them in case you do buy the proper things. well worth getting them to protect the carpets :)

I suppose its all relative but a £38 quid freebie for a £17,000 sale doesn't sound unreasonable to me, in a competitive market.

Thanks for the response guys. Come to the same conclusion, I think it might be worth picking some up.
