Just a quickie has anyone else noticed how snatchy the brakes are on a octy vrs tdi I dont know about the petrol variant,the girl friend drove it on monday and she nearly hit her nose on the steering wheel when she slowed down mind you shes used to a mg tf and must admit I like a sharp brake system.

Is got 18,000 miles on it since end sept 07

Yes they are sharp, but I think it's a question of getting used to them. I felt they were really snatchy when I first drove mine, but now I don't notice it at all...

i have same problem, with petrol variant:thumbup: when my wife drive on RS after Fabia sport 1.4:rofl:

I wish mine were like that, as they are excessively spongey

The MK2 brakes are excellent more than i can say about my MK1 TDi that never wanted to stop:eek:

You want to try a MK2 polo if you want doggy brake,you have to write a letter to em an wait for reply:rofl::rofl:
