Hello.

Just dropped in to say hello.

Hail from Lisburn Northern Ireland and am awaiting delivery of my new Octavia next week.

Nothing fast or fancy, a 1.6 auto elegance in satin grey.

Decided to go for something "sensible" having traded from BMW 525i auto, guess Iwill miss the performance, but not the bills.

This will be my fourth Skoda having previously had two Fabias and a 130 rapid coupe, all of which I really enjoyed.

I am a driving instructor, but changed from Skodas to Peugeots for the last three as Skoda stopped the ADI package and Peugeot offered a package that was hard to refuse.

May go back to the Fabia as a school car next year if Skoda will reconsider an ADI package cos don't really like the Pugs.

Hi Everyone, I have been investigating how I can replace the decorative trim pieces on the console of the O4 (see attached picture (version I would like). The easy part has been figuring out the general part numbers, however I get stuck on the specifics. I know the O4 has two technical variants; one with stock leds and one with RGB leds, and that there is a multitude of different codes for all the different colours/textures. Hoping to purchase a 2.0l TSi Sportline/Laurin & Klement variant at some point soon. My budget may result in me seeking out a vehicle with 95K onwards on the clock. I’ll be only considering something with a full comprehensive service history. My understanding is that I shouldn’t worry about cam chain tensioners as they go on and on. But do they? So is there anything I should really looking out for? Thanks

Last September my Kamiq 1.5 DSG 2020reg (regularly serviced) displayed 'Gearbox in Emergency Mode'. Very near home so able to limp home. Dealer took it in and fixed it under extended warranty. All okay until a month ago when it happened again, this time far from home. Switched off the car, restarted and all back to normal and drove perfectly. Yesterday it happened again and only D2 available. Started car today, no problem, all working, no warning sign. I'll be contacting the dealer again

Hi folks, I am looking at buying a Yeti which currently has a spare wheel fitted and therefore a raised boot floor - if I wanted the option of the lowering boot floor and taking out the spare wheel, for car camping, I understand that I need to buy a puncture repair kit and the polystyrene tray that it's housed in, plus I'd also need to source the boot floor that would sit on top of the (now empty) wheel well. The existing boot floor that sits on top of the spare wheel is not one of the variable

Hello everyone, I'm experiencing an issue with my brake pedal (basically going to the floor), and I suspect it might be related to the ABS module. I tried to scan the ABS unit for fault codes using VCDS, but I’m unable to communicate with it: it seems like CAN communication is not available. Is this normal on a Fabia Mk2 (5J), or should I definitely be able to access the ABS module via CAN? Any advice or feedback would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!
