blowing out

Featured Replies

being the little hooligan i am at times, the temptation of a rather large empty wet car park free of kerbs at 2am was too much to resist so handbrake on, full lock and plonked it in reverse and dumped the clutch.

obviously you try and keep the revs off the limiter but still nice and high but getting carried away it ended up bouncing off the limiter a couple of times

needless to say, afterwards the car felt like it had been remapped, the increase in power and acceleration was sooo noticeable, can only assume my relatively short runs to work have gunked it up or am i imagining things?

....Errr, well done......:rolleyes::rolleyes:

The ECU adapts to your driving style, drive like a granny and it'll behave like a granny. Drive it like you've stolen it and taken it to a wet carpark free of curbs at 2am and the ECU will adapt, feeling faster.

As I understand it. :)
