Minding my own business stationary caught in a lot of traffic off the M1 as it was closed due to accident. To my right traffic lights change articulated lorry see's that as an opportunity to barge forward, repeated horn warning , leant on horn still continues no where to go cars in front of me and behind up my tail pipe - cruch bye bye off side of fabia. It was only when I got out my car to shout at his cab that he looked over and realised what he had done.

At least no one was hurt but really upset me as I was on my way down south to see my Dad for his birthday particulary as he has been quite unwell lately.

The driver of the truck was unbelieviable despite the fact that he has driven into a stationary car on a R bout he tells it is not my fault you were in a blind spot - my view is if he has a blind spot that he can't check and can't be sure the road ahead is clear then he should not drive forward like a challenger 2 tank.

My I hate lorries the government taxes the car owner the the hilt and winges about congestion - what about all these 36tonne 14litre lorries that go up and down the country delivering cheap ready meals to supermarkets loaded with sugar and salt leading to early onset diabetes and heart disease costing the nhs millions - how do we pay tax the car owner more! In my opinion we need to invest billions in a proper rail network and get the majority of these trucks off the road.

I could go on but i'm clearly ranting cos i'm angry and my poor furby is proken for the second time thanks to yet another careless driver.:mad::mad::mad::mad::mad::mad::mad::mad::mad:

You could get into a big political debate about trucks but no matter how you slice it they are are a bloody menace.

They should only be alowed to use the roads between 7pm and 7am

Loads of land to grow crops/veg etc in britan, but O no, why dont we fly over colliflower from south egjpt, and then when it dosent all sell, we can just throw it all away. Perfect.

They should have a dedicated lane on motorways and only be allowed onto other roads during off-peak hours.
