Ok so i had a spirited drive in mini convoy today for about 12miles behind a TVR Sagaris, and the lead car i need help on.

No pics sorry because i had other things on my mind :p

It looked like a New Morgan, but it wasn't

Had twin exhaust about 1ft apart in the middle of the car.

The rear lights were the part of the car i hope to be able to identify it by,

Each side had 3 lights molded into the rear wheel arch, separately located in a 'traffic light' style one below the other. Very wide rear tyres, and a loverly roar when he was opening it up..

Absolutly stunning car, never seen one before and thought i do class myself to be a bit of a car nut, i cant remember what it is.

Looks like a morgan, got a funny feeling it might also have a wooden chasis, new, very fast, 2seater convertable, and i saw it on Topgear within the last 24months.

If you could paste what you think it is or a picture saving me googling.

Whoever guesses right will win my collection of lego men heads (1).

They were both on NL plates, touring i guess.

OBV didn't know the road that well as i was able to keep up with them for the most part, albeit in the strights where they were goooooone.

Yep a V8 from the previous gen M5, with some induction and exhaust tweaks has got to be a winner
