I just thought Id let you chaps know about my little trip over the last two days,,,, had to travel down to Portsmouth from Stirling on sunday for a course starting monday,,, things didnt go very well on the course and had to come back on the monday.

Thats just over 940 miles in 2 days in my vrs,, now in any other car ive owned i would now be crippled and poor.

The car was fantastic on the motorway, excellent on fuel, cruised with poise and never felt like a small car in a big cruisers world. Ive owned a lot of cars even mercs and this just shone, i cant say how impressed ive been with this car.

Even had a little power test on the northern quiet roads and that was even more surprising !!!!

I don't think the fabia is that small a car IMHO, comparing it to a normal fabia it looks bigger maybe the way it looks makes it look bigger but the fabia does feel like a bigger car when your driving it.

I've nearly done 10000 miles in mine since buying it and the smile is still on my face.

The vRS is such a great car for doing pretty much anything in!!! I can't wait to take it to europe next year

Although I will say that I reckon my bushes have gone, but aint gonna worry too much about that !!

And i think the 'from new' conti's need replacing soon, prob for toyos,,, and its getting close to the next service !!

From what ive seen there are more of us up here than down south mate,,,,

I love my Vrs for long journeys .Just eats up the miles far too easy ,,,thats it now needing its 20k service - its only 13 months old !!

Yeh a long weekend in my vRS down the country has me loving mine all over again. Remapped, its now effortless to overtake, and 62mpg indicated(56 in reality) on two runs, I can't complain.
