Fuel pump fault codes

Featured Replies

I have a hot start problem with my 2000 Octavia TDI SLX as raised in this thread

http://briskoda.net/forums/octavia-i/finally-bought-octavia-tdi-estate-advice-required/111761/

I called in to a local diesel specialist ( who I've been using for years) and he suggested that it may be the fuel temperature sensor which is housed within the pump.

I have Vag com (shareware version) can anybody advise how to check this sensor- I've read elsewhere on this forum that you should be able to see the fuel temp within vag com but not how to acually scan it

I've tried engine- no fault codes found and 41 diesel pump and it says cannot communicate with controller

Any tips would be appreciated

Its in engine, measuring block 000-001.

However the value that you see means nothing without the workshop manual.

You want controller 01, 41 is for the pump on diesel Felicias, so the communication error is nothing to worry about.
