Does anyone know the two yellow colour codes for the fun pick-up? Mine are unreadable and I need to do a bit of cosmetic touch up work.

ayup mate , the codes are 6518 for the metalwork and 6150 for the plastics

For plastics read fibreglass..lol.

Problem is new paint is a mile off what these have all faded to by now.

some dealers/spray shops have a device that they put on the paintwork and it uses reflected light to work out the exact shade then they can mix it for you there or spray it for you there, best to go to a shop and ask

i remember they did it for my dad when he drove the family people carrier (red fiat ulysee) into a bollard at tesco, lmao he was so ****ed off :P

I've not seen anywhere that can use a device to check the current colour of the paint and match it, they all seem to mix to MFR's original colour when it was new. Would be useful for me as my red paint is very faded.

yeah, thing is i dont know what its called lol, i saw it onthe tele before aswell, if i can remember what it was called or anyone else then google it, or ask a spray shop they use the same device in some diy stores and you can take an item in and they give you the paint exact same shade and colour

(not for cars in a diy store though obv)

I sprayed the tailgate on mine at 7 years old , and the match was perfect
