Friday 13th Strikes - Boost Problem

Featured Replies

This morning going to work in my VRS and I put my foot down and something went! I have a woosh noise coming from drivers side on full throttle! I'm guessing I have a split pipe as it only happens on full throttle. Can anyone advise me what pipe it could be, want to get it fixed asap!

And also a stupid question but in the 5months I have had the car I haven't removed the engine cover so how does it come off?

Cheers

Kev

The engine cover just has 3 philip style large plastic screws, just flip then a quarter turn. You'll see what I mean when you do it.

Sounds like a split / lose pipe somewhere. Check for splits or even a pipe completely off.

The black screws in the cover turn them 90 degree's and the thing pops off

Hey thanks for the replies! Will get out at lunch time and have a look! Hopefully will be able to find the problem as I work in Winchester and we have a Skoda dealer down the road to get the parts!
