Featured Replies

Bit random but im buying it to clean my seats

anyone got or used a Vax V-020 for cleaning there seats as ive found a few cheap ones but dont want to buy one if they're gonna be carp.

Amazon.co.uk: VAX V020 Vacuum Cleaner: Kitchen & Home

ive found them a lot cheaper than this but i dont want to let you know where till i get one!!!

I bought a vax 6151 from Makro 3 weeks ago for £94 inc. vat.

I have cleaned my seats and found for the best result i 1st cleaned the seats with Decosol cleaner rubbed in with a sponge, then i used the vax with a small amount of stardrops.

Seats came up like new.

Somethings they dry a little streaky,if this happens just go over them again with the vax.

Yes I have one and it works very well indeed

Would your cheaper supplier start and 99p and sell reconditioned units or be Aldi ;)

I got a Vax 6131 from Robert Dyas yesterday, £70 off. Seems to work fine - got a frightening amount of filth out of the living room carpet.

That was plus delivery I assume?

I've linked them up here many times as that is where I got mine from and paid £31 delivered.

I have been keeping my eye on these for awhile now hoping to get one for your sort of money Cheezmonkhai but no luck yet. This couldn't be a possible group buy could it? there is loads of interest!

Can ask them, I would think they might well entertain it if enough people were interested?

EDIT: Just asked them and it's a no as you would need a trade account. If somebody was to organise a GB and bid on the number required they might be able to do something on postage.

I'd suggest just having a look and bidding on them at the last minute.

One on there now with 30 mins to go at £28 and one with 7 hours to go for £21

well I did my seats other day and wow fantastic and really white again now. couldn't believe the dirt that came out!!! only thing i found is to hold the fabric taught when doing it instead of just pulling the head along. just need to scotch guard them now.

Hey up then Rich.....how much to hire it for the day:D

You Know where i live.

Phil;)

free mate if you want to borrow it but wont have it back from northampton till late on saterday.

Woot got one of these coming too :D I am excited as I have a mark on my rear seat courtesy of my bike lol

use a vax 6150sx, excellent for car seats, AND leaves the seats damp not wet...dry in no time

It's essentially the same machine only the 020 isn't set up to do dry as well.

If you want to do just wet, it's a bargain in my opinion.

Mine arrived today and my interior is now white  Well worth a purchase considering how much a rug doctor is to rent!
