Not only does it look aweful, but it's pointless. As I said originally, I've only ever seen 2 chips in that area on an Octy.

i understand the need for them but im not willing to spend the cash on something like that which imo is asking for some scrunt to key my car because they think it'll be funny to annoy the person who cares for there car.

Having one of these "Car Bra's" is one of my pet hates. They can't be that cheap to buy, so a bonnet respray is favourite? They look really naf

What do they do for the people that put them on? it's a bit like the spotty little chavs in their Corsa's and Halfords Hybrid cars going around with their side lights on and their fogs acting as headlight we are cool, or blue side lights When I see this it just says to me "pull me over officer - I'm a bell end"

In their place (SE USA) they do have a point, since a day on the freeway could see the front of your car as black with dead flies as the bra is.

As I've already said, there's no point to them for chip protection on an Octy because that area doesn't get chipped much (2 chips in as many years).

Plus when you remove it, you'll have darker paint where it's been, so it'll forever look like a botched crash repair.

If you get ONE stone chip in that area on a modern car in 3 yrs, then it'd be a fluke IMHO.

All my company vehicles get it half way up the bonnet, or the windscreen :(
