Hi just been looking on ebay and they are offering a 'module' to up your BHP by telling your car that the air going into it is all cold which apparently ups the BHP - i know this is a load of rubbish but when reading up on ebay from people with past experiences (the guides) and apparently if this module is fitted to your IAT it can mess up how the car starts once its hot. Im having the problem that when my car is hot it will not start for ages until its cooled down.

Im just thinking maybe the guy with my car before me has modded the car himself and its still on there so im asking really if anyone can take a picture of the fabia engine and show me where to look to see if there is mods to the intake air temperature sensor.

Any help would be so so helpful..

That mod is for a Petrol engine. There is a similar thing for TDi but it modifies the fuel temperature signal.

no its a 1.4 16v Petrol. I have no idea where to look as i have no airbox anymore because i fitted my induction kit. if you look at my picture below and maybe put an arrow on the picture then re post where it is! ?

Pretty sure the IAT sensor is combined with the MAP sensor on the left hand side of the cylinder head.

wow this is the true reason why you should never ever ask a question about cars on yahoo questions..

Q = Where is the IAT intake air temperature sensor on a skoda fabia?

A = There should be a manual with the car. The temparature sensor should be somewhere near the radio or sumwhere near that. If you cant find it, it means that it doesnt have it, lower models dont have that much equipment so if u cant find it, it means it doesnt have one and u need to upgrade to get it.
