power steering faults

Featured Replies

Hi all,

just after some info about a fault with my power steering in my Fabia clasic (2000 model). I have noticed over the last few weeks that the steering is very light and I am having to oversteer. Yesterday the warning light came on on the dashboard to highlight that there is a problem with the PAS. Does anyone have any idea what the problem may be and how much this could end up costing ?

Hello and welcome

:orb_wave:

I paid £750 for a new PAS pump if that's any help!

First off Welcome to the site.

Secondly.

It could be your power steering pump or the angle sensor.

Im not to sure on the cost of a angle sensor but I can supply you a power steering pump for £150.00, £15.00 shipping exc vat.

If that is any help to you please pm me and I will send you my details.

Andy
