Anyone know what options are available for a good strut brace for teh Octavia II. Are any VAG ones available.

I'm not sure they will be due to the position of the strut tops and the shape of the engine bay. If you draw a line in between the strut tops it goes right accross the front of the windscreen.

I have seen one on a Golf however it requires some metal to be cut from around the strut top - Not my cup of tea.

That was quick. Thanks a lot guys. I have the Bilstein B16 on my car and hear a thud noise everytime you go fast over a hump and my mechanic says to strenghthen the struts with a brace. He feels the struts(B16) are very strong and hence the noise. Any ideas guys?
