fabia in menorca

have just got back from a glorious fortnites holiday in Menorca. Whilst we were there ,SWMBO and myself hired a brand new Fabia tfs ? in bronze. I drive an octy tdi and must say i was impressed by this little petrol motor and it returned an avarage of 49 mpg.(saying that the national speed limit on the island is 90 kph ). As a matter of intrest, petrol in Menorca is 1.230 euros per litre (approx£1 per litre) and diesel is 1.280 euros per litre ( approx £1.04 per litre).Seeing as though all their fuel is imported from the mainland, thats bloody cheap :confused:
