Quick Candy White Question

Featured Replies

Anyone know if the Skoda Candy White (as used on the Octavia vRS WRC) is the same as Volkswagen Candy White

Local Hellfrauds only have VW Candy White, it looks the same but I'm hoping someone might know for definite

Cheers

Dan

Dan, compare the paint code for the halfords vw paint against the paint code for the octy which is on the vehicle data sticker.its the 2nd set of digits in, on the 2nd row after all the bar codes.

Just found this

Thanks for the advice mate... I did try to do this, but there's no code on the can itself and the little lad behind the counter wouldn't have known a paint code if it had danced naked in front of him singing 'I'm a paint code, love me, love me, I'll make it all OK for you my darling' :(

Hence the question here, before I resort to actually picking up the phone to a paint supplier.

WRCSixtyThree - would your photo be on the forecourt of a certain TofS garage?

If so you must be fairly local to myself! fancy a meet up / pint one evening.........

might get Jimmy and MonkeyHanger interested too........

Well spotted mate! You're dead right, it was on the forecourt until Friday ;-) Now it's in my driveway. Occasionally. When I can bear to get out :D

Yeah, a meet for a pint and a pie sounds good to me. I live in Easington Lane, moved up from Suffolk last March (2003) so always up for meeting new people

Cheers

That's handy. My parents live in Butterknowle, near Bishop, so maybe we can sort something out near them?

I'm pretty much free any evening or weekend, just drop me a pm and we'll sort out our own mini-meet... anyone else welcome...

Guys, check out the northern meets section.

We're trying once again to get a drive out / meet going (July 24, pre BTCC @ Croft)

As for an evening pint (non-alcoholic, for the benefit of :cop: ) I'm up for it...

Mr Panrix, James...where are you ? :P

Did someone mention a pint??

I knew that would get a reaction ;)

Suggestions for a suitable time & location please.

The pub at the top of my road on a friday / saturday night. So I can park the car in the car park and walk home after getting ****faced....

Suits me, we can all kip in the back of the hearse :D
