skoda's are fab

Featured Replies

Hi Paul Here,

From sunny Wales have always had a respect for the skoda brand. A mates dad had several brand new rear engined skodas in th 80's a 105,120LS and a bright orange 130LSE all the people in the street took the p#ss but a fter 10yrs three Skoda's and not a single mishap even the worst of them admitted they were good cars.

Back to today a mate has a chipped vRS fABIA and I'm after a Skoda Superb. I used to have a A6 tdi 110bhp(Y2K) which was amazing and I think thats why I like the look and feel of the Superb.

Have driven a 1.9, 2litre & 2.5v6(160bhp). Can't decide whether to get good low mileage 1.9 or a good condition older V6. Common sense would be a 2.0 (140). Have been offered a new(old shape) Black (fave colour) 1.9tdi classic for £12995 before haggling.

Incidently I don't like the NEW model looks like a Renault (aaaaargghhh):thumbdwn:

Anyway thanks for getting this far. Nice to find a site that appreciates the Superb.

welcome to briskoda

Welcome!

And Monmouthshire... surely that's England? ;)

welcome along

Welcome :)

Welcome!!

Skoda superbs are pretty good

I dunno how low mileage ones you'll be able to find as they are excellent long distance cruisers.

That said they are built to last anyway.

Did they do a V6 petrol?
