Is the average MPG reading stored in the computer or are the readings lost when you switch the ignition off?

There are two figures shown.

( / ) 1 will reset to zero if the ignition is off for two hours (or you manually reset it yourself)

( / ) 2 doesn't automatically reset - I believe it will keep going for up to 9999 miles but I've never left it alone that long as I always use trip 2 to measure economy on a tank full

2nd one resets it's self every 100th hour...

unless you choose to reset it yourself before hand.

Have to refute that my 2 has nevr changed and I have had the car 8 weeks now and it shows mileage total since I drove away from the garage. Or have I missed something as usual.

Is that for a Fabia 2 or 3 because mines definately goes back to zero after switching off the ignition for more than 2 hours?

That is the same for both, as you are using memory 1.

If you press the bottom on the bottom of the right hand stalk it will change between memory 1 and 2.
