Auto locking doors

Featured Replies

Hi, just want to know if there is the option of having doors auto locking after you have reached a certain speed on the vRS SE. How much would it cost to get it activated?

Im located in Halifax, West Yorkshire if anyone can help?

as above!

mine is activated and was when I bought it.

you could get Skoda to add it FOC at your next service if there is no one local with vag com.

Worth mentioning that there's no guarantee that your local dealer will do this FoC, even during a service.

Steve

typical main stealers

when I got mine they said if I wanted it taken off they'd do it FOC.

Dealer did mine at last service, no worries.

I have a similar question....

Just got my fab vRS and i was wondering if it is possible to configure the locking, so that, one press of the unlock button on the fob would unlock just the drivers door, and 2 presses would open the rest??

Is this another VAG com job or is it possible to configure without?

Don't think that is possible on the Fabia. Our dealer was able to set the locks to auto-lock at 10mph on our car (2001 Fabia Comfort 1.9TDi), but not the two stage unlocking as you describe. Not sure if things changed for later models? If it is possible on later cars then, yes, it would be via VAGCOM

My vRS came with the two-stage unlocking although I did need to turn on the auto-lock myself with VAG-com. So I'm guessing there is an option for the unlocking somewhere.

Yes, configurable without problem using VAG-COM. Would see no reason for it not to be possible on a 2001 Fabia either, for that matter.

If either of you are near Manchester I'll sort it out for you.

Sorry for draging this one up people but which option is this in VAG-COM, I've got my alarm to beep but unsure on where this option is. Its a Furby vRS, 07 plate.

Cheers.
