No Rear Washer

Featured Replies

Hi Guys,

I've had a look through the forum and cant seem to find a specific answer to this .... except it might be a split / off pipe....

Rear wash wipe seems to be working - except there's no water. any hints as to where i should be looking for pipe joints etc ?

cheers in advance :D

Yep, i'd wager behind the n/s/r boot carpet, pipe is probably filling up your electrics nicely.

hang on ... i just went to have a look and couldn't see any washer jets - is it possible my classic just doesn't have them ?

if so ... DUH SH*TE BU**ER - in that order!

Had same prob, told by mechanics at my local dealer using other than Skoda screenwash will cause problems;the hose disconnects at some point!Apparently a directive out on this.

Sorted at first service.

Go figure.

well i found the washers - on the top of the wiper spindle - but i've never refilled it since buying the car from Abrahams Skoda and the fronts work fine - so i'm guessing it was off from then - i'll try to clean the jets and see if they kick up but failing that i'm going to have to start stripping down the carpets and rear hatch trim :(

Lummox - i had a look in through the bulb access hatch in the rear carpet but couldn't see any tubing --- lower or higher ?

you'll have to pull back the carpet fully to get into it.. Its just above the inner wheel arch:) If its off put a couple of dots of super glue on the joint, the have a habbit of popping off;)
