Just got myslef a skoda witha hybrid twist!

Well i thought i had bettwer introduce myself now i have just got myself a Skoda. Never thought i would say that! She is mainly used as a week day car for work so i can enjoy my larger 600bhp Evo at the weekends. Seems like a great forum so im gonna stick around. Full spec of both cars below. Anybody know the Fabia?

Engine

1.9 pd130 Turbo Diesel (still returning 40MPG) with this spec.

Stage 2 turbo dynamics garrett hybrid turbo

Custom remap by Star Performance. (This has been mapped to a safe level)

Rolling road at 210 bhp 310lbft (have a rolling road print)

Seat Ibiza Cupra R pd160 intake

Seat Sport front mount intercooler

Green Air Filter

Seat Ibiza Cupra R Strut Brace

Miltec Stainless Decat Downpipe

Miltec Stainless Decat Full System Exhaust

Helix performance clutch to rein in the torque (Bit noisy being a performance clutch)

Suspension

Full set of KW Variant 1 coilovers lowered around 30mm

sits really nice and handles well, not too hard)

Cupra solid suspension bushes front and rear

KW Shortened drop links to accommodate new suspension set up

geomerty just done at star performance.

Brakes

Front: 323mm brembo calipers and dics conversion from a seat leon Cupra R and pagid fast road pads.

Rear: 2 piece Tarox bells and rotors 308mm and caliper extensions with Audi s3 rear calipers and pagid fast road pads.

Wheels

Silver Rota Drift GTR 8x18 215/35/18 falken tyres + toyo 888s. unmarked and tyres as new.

Interior

full custom leather interior from the seat surgeons york . including stitched leather door cards front and

full stitched doorcards on the rear.

Sure do, He's standing beside me right now :D

Being honest he's a pedant and has not spared a penny on this motor and I am currently slating him for letting it go so cheap but after a while the urge of Jap turbo has got back to him, you would think 2 scoobies and an evo would have gotten it out of his system :P

:D:D:D Yeah i know that feeling. He knows how many Evos i have had and i still have not got it out of my system :P The black one goes next week ready for a 800bhp IX :eek: The misses is doing her head in :rofl:

If you want to see something sick, click on the Video link, and than in the top right hand courner there will be a option to view all pictures. Click no that than click on view all pics. Lost count of how many cars that i have owned in the past 6 years :eek:

as for the fabia ...... it's fairly nice, i was first in the que last time the guy advertised it but he couldn't sell it :rofl: so iv just build my own hyrbid ;)

Does this mean there IS a conversion for the back brakes on a fabia?

Yes, has been for a few years now.

It's never been talked about / discussed on here though. :D

Lots of things dont get discussed on here ;):P

Give Jim a bell at Starperformance about these ones or ECS do a kit also.

Whether they are of great benefit or not is another matter as you know the back brakes are fairly lightly used on the fabia.
