Fabia rarb

Featured Replies

I,m thinking of buying a rarb for my fabia. I,ve done a search and read though lots of different reviews, but i couldn,t find if anyone had done a comparison between the jabbasport and the whiteline one. I know one is adjustable, and one is dearer,but is there any difference on how they effect the cars handling. If anyone can can point me in the right direction or advice it would be much appreciated. :)

Many thanks

I have read the Jabbasport one can be a little bit snappy in the wet, although it is undeniably a better made product.

I have a whiteline and its brilliant, although rust problems have been documented.

I have the Whiteline one and its simply Awesome! Never tried the Jabba one but i've turned my whiteline one down to the Medium setting as it felt a bit to tail happy in the wet at the Hard setting. If you've read all the posts comparing them you'll know the differences....

It all boils down to how much money your willing to spend to be honest...

but i couldn,t find if anyone had done a comparison between the jabbasport and the whiteline one.

For this I have just set fire to an entire box of kittens

1. At the top of the page about a third of the way from the right is a "Search" link. Click this.

2. Type in "Jabba", "Whiteline" and "ARB" Click "Go"

You will then be directed to a few threads that do exactly this, for example;

http://briskoda.net/forums/fabia/whiteline-rear-arb-fitted/95923/5/ which starts to get interesting at about page 5

Hope this helps.

Decron I would say you got a faulty bar there... the seams and holes on mine were very well made.

Whilst I agree that there's quite a lot of information available on this subject already, I'll add here that I've never found the handling of my car with the Jabba R-ARB fitted to be 'snappy', in the wet or otherwise. Think there might be something wrong with the driver. I'd replace the word 'snappy' with 'progressive', personally.

Yeah I know it's probably a duff one but it is what it is. It does't start or end with my review however there are various other contributors.

The conclusion seemed to be that if you want the best performance and outright quality you go for the Jabba, but if your not going to be anal about it and driving on the limit all the time (Track users etc) and only want to tighten up the back end the the Whitline is fine. TBH I doubt most people could tell the difference, but the choice is there and those are the opinions.
