Money to spend on 54 VRS

Featured Replies

I have decided to spend some money on the VRS.

Decided on the following so would appreciate opinions and also cost and where to source for people who have modded with the same recently.

I am based in Wiltshire so looking at JKM Performance for Revo or is there a place in Dorset - recommendations.

Options:

1 Eibach Rear ARB - or other - not really concerened about adjustability as I wouldn't touch it when on the car.

2 S3 lower brace - worth it or not - seems to be a lot of mixed opinions. Worth doing without Upper Brace? Benefits with the Eiback ARB.

3 Revo Remap - Standard

4 Revo Serial Port Select Switch (not the plus)

5 Carbonio Intake (worth doing before or after remap - depending on cost at the moment - is it worth doing at all - apart from sound benefits pssst :D

6 Forge DV - FMCL007PC (same as above)

Thanks

yeah ^^ Do it, do it, do it!

possibly not the s3 lower strut brace I hear its not much different over standard

Rear arb and remap deffo :)

if you can afford it go for the rear arb, induction kit then re-map.

will make a hell of a difference

do the lot, then whack a bigger turbo on it :)

I can only agree with the above, I havent tried the rear ARB but the induction, dv and remap have made a fantastic difference to the car.

Im having a turbo back exhaust fitted tomorrow so I'll le tyou know if that makes any difference to the driveability of the car.

The two mods that make the biggest difference to the car is the Remap and the Rear ARB. Do these first as after that its just more money for less improvement.
