Reverse sensors on vRS

Featured Replies

How well do they work? How ugly are they (even Porsche manage to make them look like ugly carbuncles) and where abouts in the bumper are they - ie on the black strip or colour coded and located on another part of the bumper?

Get them they are a godsend, slight damage to the back of my car because I could not see a 2 foot wall, they are mounted on black strip, flushed, they do not stand proud, and from a couple of feet you cannot see them, not sure but if I can remember but I think there is one port and starboard and three aft,,,,,,,,aye aye jim lad, to long at sea..............

Sounds good, I'll have them. And cruise control, too. It's just a shame you can't get full leather..............

Hello Jim Bo take a look at the following link

scroll to the left and you'll see a picture of my RS with the sensors which were fitted about six months after I brought the RS.

Looks good - thanks for the quick responses, guys. I've been missing PDC ever since I borrowed a BMW!

Jim Bo

The ones on my dealers demo Octavia are in the bumper just below the rubbing strip and color coded to make them much less noticeable than the ones fitted to BMW Mercs ect that ive seen with them. I think this is the location of the sensors if you order them factory fitted when you order a new vRS , when you have them retro fitted by your dealer they are fitted in the plastic rubbing strip.
