:Oi'm a brand new Skoda owner! Hubby bought me a Fabia 1.4 Elegance automatic 04 reg. Drove it home Monday and went to use it this evening and I cannot get a pip out of it - well I got a pip! the lights all come on and after a short time it beeps at me! Is there a secret to start it? or heaven forbid theres a prob! My husband will go ballistic! bought from main dealer by the way! Can anyone help please

No I am used to an automatic and the turn of and on in park with brake on, I picek up at Cheshire Oaks drove into Chester parked up for couple of hours and she started up fine then, drove home parked up Mon evening didnt touch it till Wed evening when I don't even get the slow chug of a dying battery - I'm going to contact the Skoda dealer I got it from to see if I have inherited problems!

Not sure ifI replied! No not left in drive! The battery was completely flat, the dealership sent out RAC, they charged me up and I took it the them, they replaced my battery! oh to have that for my aging body!!! enough! rhey sent me away and within three minutes I have a diagnostic showing aaargh! Anyway I am using a courtesy car and they are sorting me out. Hubby not pleased!!! me well if it is fixable I'm ok! Thanks for advise! cheers

I am sure they will get it sorted soon enough :)
