Just realised yesterday that the 130/Rapid headlights are exactly the same as the units fitted to the 105, except they have a plastic exension on the front of the reflector and the glass is at an angle to the reflector so as to give a 'fared in' look to the grille. No wonder the 130 beams are weaker than the 105 on dark and tricky roads - even with upgrade bulbs. That hood must be robbing a fair few candles. I wonder why Skoda 'downgraded' the quality of the headlights - not for the looks alone I would hope...

I'd think it probably is. That is exactly why I hate headlight "eyebrows" on almos everything!
