Oh right I did not realise that. I thought it did all that. Anything further to add mate?

No, it came as a bit of a shock to me too, but now I just accept it. It does have one massive benefit though - no stupid marks on the windscreen:D

The map CDs are £110 each:(

Thats true, all in one i guess!

Ouch £110! mind you it comes with the 2007 disc which hopefully is ok.

I have the ipod link and it is really fast, almost instant.

I paid £450 brand new for the Avic D3 and Bluetooth unit and Ipod Cable. Dont think you will get a new MFD any cheaper.

Having used the MFD, TOMTOM, Garmin and the avic D3, I personally think the Pioneer and tomtom are very comparable and updated discs etc can be bought cheap on ebay.

I will say, the Avic D3 is faster and works better than the newer avic D3HD which has the hard disk, hence getting the older unit

Hmm, well I think I am going to go for the MFD and Phatbox deal. £300 notes for the lot inc parrot kit and cables is good in comparison i think?

The MFD is being sold with a Music Keg IIRC so that should cover the music side of things.

Marks on the windscreen?! My Garmin unit fits perfectly under the centre console, on the flat part, below the heater controls. (its a Fabia).

Looks so much better there than stuck to a windscreen, and still picks up signal no problem
