Stuck CD

Featured Replies

Hope anyone can help with this prob I got or looks like a replacement radio.

I have the Symphony that came with my VRS. I had cd in unit, pressed eject, the cd came out about 5 mm then shot back in!!

Now try to eject the cd and on the display it says "cd eject" but nothing and it just goes back to the radio station I was on or it carries on playing the cd!!

Is the unit busted or is there some way I can fix this:(??

Thanks

Had similar problem and many in here recommended the age old remedy - which worked on the 2nd attempt.

Press the eject button then give the LHS of the Symphony a good thump!

Good luck.

If the "Thump" method doesn't work, if you can manage to remove the radio then removing the CD once the radio is out isn't particularly difficult. I did have some good instructions but have managed to misplace them somewhere... I'll have a quick look around

Have had exactly same problem intermittently on mine !!

Switching unit off completely and then switching on & .letting CD play for about 1 minute before pushing the eject has worked a couple of times. Once I did grab it when it teased with a partial reject and pulled like hell, it eventually gave it back.

It's a real pain though I hope it doesnt get more frequent !!

Thanks i'll try the thump method and hopefully it will give my cd back.

If not looks like a new radio/cd :thumbdwn:

Also I don't know if anyone can help with this?

I have noticed the road noise on the front wheels getting louder.

I checked tyre pressure tread depth and they seem fine.

Not noticed steering wheel judder as I would have thought this would have happened if wheel was out of balance....

any ideas???

I guess you have F1 Eagles

It is usually hard tyres and as they wear the noise gets louder

This is mentioned before. Solution is to push the CD button so that the CD plays. Skip though the tracks to the last track on the CD. Hold the eject button to eject the CD.

Repeat if it doesn't work first time.
